Pedigree For Hosea
Hosea is a long, deep-bodied bull that stands approximately 45 inches tall. His daughters are very feminine, and all his offspring have the same gentle nature as their sire. He is GeneStar rated 4-stars for tenderness, making him a good choice for the commercial market, including grass finishing.
His pedigree is impeccable. He is the son of 2 of the most champion-producing lowlines in the states. His sire, Brambletye Tequila, was the National Champion Lowline Bull at the Royal Easter Show in Australia in 2000. Imported to the US that year, he was the record selling bull in Denver for $22,500. He has sired more class winners and major champions than any bull in the breed.
Hosea’s dam, Bar J Nellie 7G1, has produced many champions in the United States as well, including LTL Dillon, the National Western Stock Show (NWSS) 2005 Grand Champion Bull; Bar J Ponderosa, who was R es. Grand Champion Bull at 2002 NWSS & Senior Champion Bull 2003 NWSS. Hosea is the full brother to Bar J Nellie 2M19, 2004 grand champion female NWSS.
